Timberscorch is Pineclan's lead hunter, having found this position due to finding actual healthy food during the famine. Cavernstar's paranoia and control to not die made him far too reliant on the hunter. However, Timber's hope to initially save his clan and find food actually came from eating cat meat from an already dead cat in desperation. He began feeding his clan with a dedicated pair of cats (Sablefrost and Jaypaw), eventually manipulating and threatening them to keep their methods a secret.
