GAMEPLAY

If youre worried you need to learn a whole new system, worry not!!! This is just normal DND with some things removed.

You can make your character sheet following these instructions.

General Rules

play at level 7
background can be folk hero or outlander
no ranged weapons, no magic (outside of specific magic for clerics)
all melee weapons will be viewed as "claws" alongside your normal unarmed attacks.
An attack that is meant to "disarm" a character will in fact work, and limit you to only using your 'unarmed' attack instead (which has a fixed, often lower points of damage) and in order to recover you must roll a dice for this.

DND race choices for stats
Lizardfolk, Tabaxi, or Harengon. dragonborn is accetptable now, just no magic advantages

For a "Warrior"
Your class choices are: Barbarian (Berserker subclass only), Fighter (Battlemaster subclass only), rogue (assassin class only)

For a Medicine cat
Your class choices are: cleric, life domain subclass only

Hunting

Players are presented with a map of spots of interest. They are hiding prey or herbs. Players will have to roll investigation, survival, or medicine to figure out what they smell. when a sent is caught then it is revealed on the spot.

Each item being hidden has a different level of whether of not they can be discovered and what it is will increase that roll. when approaching prey they will need to stealth and then attack. if they fail to stealth they can attmpt once more, with disadvantage or receive help from another player-- which gets rid of the disadvantage, and a chance for both players to attempt catching the prey ?

DO not roll perception. only roll once for inv/sur/med. ONE cat's reveals apply to all. players can roll more if they wish to try and find more.

Roll d8 for prey

1 - mouse
2 - shrew
3 - vole
4 - small bird - starling, jay, thrush, sparrow
5 - adder
6 - squirrel
7 - rabbit
8 - large bird - pheasant, crow, blackbird,
